Were the beds comfy?
The beds are very comfy and meant to be identical across the whole ‘empire’. In your room, there is often a sign informing you where you can purchase one of your own. They are clearly rather proud of them!

We've booked for May. I booked it on 20 June 2019! lol £46 for the room, and £21 for breakfast (2 adults, 1 child - kids eat free). I haven't bothered with evening meal, as not sure what time we will arrive as will be traffic dependent, so we will just pop over to the terminal if needs be to get something (will be doing twilight check in for our flight the next morning).

ETA: This is for a family room, not a single or a double.

We never book the evening meal for the same reason. You will find that if you arrive and want it, they can amend your breakfast element to include it in the wider, meal deal. We have never yet been turned away on the grounds that they were fully booked.

We are staying the night before our VA flight next month. Booked family room for 2 adults and one child last April at same time as booking holiday. Used booking.com and got fully flex booking at £51. We've got VRoom so didnt want to book brekkie (mind you who doesnt love a PI brekkie?!) and may want to explore something inside terminal for dinner so didnt go with meal deal.
