Honestly your best bet is to try and call the MC when you arrive, their details will be in a book or on the fridge, and try to pay them locally in the hope it will cost less than Virgin's absolute rip off.
It would take around 24-48 hours to heat up if you go down that route. No pool heat in October is not for the faint hearted. |

There will be a folder in the villa with the MCs number, you could try calling them and ask how much if you pay locally. Bear in mind they will probably charge a fee to come out and turn the heat on and it will take 24-48 hrs to heat up.

It's about DOUBLE what you would pay direct to an owner so yes it does seem like you are being ripped off but you really do need pool heat at that time of the year to comfortably use the pool. Hopefully you will be able to book it direct via the mc when you arrive but it will take a day or two to heat up and there may be a call out fee. You would also benefit from having a pool blanket to retain the heat overnight too.
