After a cracking stay at the Sonesta es Suites a few years ago and years of nagging from kids who are now teenagers we are now at the early planning stages of a return trip - yipeeeeee . Maybe 2021 or 2022 depending on how things go given the current situation and unless there was an absolute bargain to be had!

We will not be doing Disney this time just universal, Seaworld Busch and waterparks. I have always wanted to stay in a villa with private pool but am aware there are no short term lets for this type of accommodation at the Universal end.

What are the best areas to consider to reduce travel times if staying in a villa as don't really fancy a long drive to parks or should I scrap this and look for a condo or townhouse somewhere closer?

Total in party is 6. 4 adults and 2 teenagers (14 and 13).
