You have my sympathy, I also have a problem with my knees and have difficulty getting up from kneeling etc.
As to embarrassing moments mine was at Citywalk whilst visiting Universal. It had been raining and I was at Citywalk with my son whilst hubby and daughter were at Horror Nights. I was wearing flip flops and slipped as we walked into one of the Shops. I crashed down and couldn’t get up , my teenage son was mortified and just disappeared. I was rescued by a lovely and quite burly American gentleman who stepped forward with a “ Let me help you ma’am” , he literally had to haul me up I don’t think I will ever recover from the shame 😊😊

Another one for you. A few years ago, I found I have developed motion sickness, so couldn’t go on roller coasters anymore 😢. However over the last few years it’s got worse, whilst on the flight to Florida, i shake, I get sweaty,Im dizzy, feel sick, I have to deep breathe (so I’m fairly noisy) I also drink loads of water, I cover my face with my hood, and occasionally peep out. The poor chap next to me looked horror stricken at my behaviour... I only know that because my hubby told me.
Thankfully I now have a supply of tablets from Walmart which knock me out.
So, if you’re out there , I apologise 😀

Another knee suffererer here so absolute sympathy. I can get up but it is not a pretty sight. (Have to turn round on to all fours).
I once fell over on top of a volcano in La Palma. We were on a coach trip and all I wanted was some room to get up but I was surrounded by well meaning but not English speaking fellow tourists. Dave had stopped to take a photo of the view and was completely oblivious. And I had stupid sensible ugly walking sandals on.

I’m fine now thanks, knees still a bit sore but otherwise ok... I’m rather “mature” and on the over cuddly side, I’ve had some embarrassing falls before one quite spectacular when I tripped over a paving slab in the town centre which I am convinced contributed to the knee pain... it’s very reassuring though to hear there’s others as clumsy as me...

I hope you're ok now. You're not alone though don't worry! 4 years ago at our tip I lent into my car boot going through the back door as we'd taken one of the seats out. I had one foot on the outside ground and the other in the car. I sort of knelt on the bended leg inside and my knee locked. Excruciatingly painful! Had to shout for help, get them to call my husband who then had to call my parents so my dad could drive my car home while he took me to A&E. Must've looked a right sight

I was mooring my boat once, I had jumped off to tie up while Hubble drove.
The rope got caught around my inflatable life jacket, setting it off, which made me fall over due to the shock !
So Double whammy, I was laughing so hard !

Many years ago I had a week of embarrassing moments!
I bought a new body moisturiser, slathered it all over and thought it felt really strange (wouldn't absorb etc). Moaning away about it to my then housemate who pointed out it was shower gel

A few days later I walked out of an exam and as I walked across the grounds outside the building (that was crowded with other students) the elastic in my skirt snapped and before I could grab it, it was around my knees. Lots of heckling from bystanders!

Just to top off the week, I had an interview for a teaching position on the Friday afternoon. I taught a Year 6 class for an hour with the Headteacher, Deputy and two Governors present in the room. As I left the school I realise the top 2 buttons of my shirt had come undone and I'd spend the previous hour flashing my bra to everyone. And no, I didn't get the job

Hope that makes you feel better and that you're not in too much discomfort.

In February this year we were on a holiday to Madeira, it was Mardi Gras and a parade was due at 3 pm. DH decided to get a bit closer to take some photos, as he moved down he tripped and went flying head first into the railings, with his head straight through. My fist thought was how was he going to get out. Any way he pulled it out, but on standing fell again as was dizzy. The parade was held up whilst an ambulance was brought in. We were then whisked up to the Funchal hospital, where he had an MRI scan and stiches in his chin.
Very embarrassing for him lol

Oh no I hope you are ok.
I am known in my family for tripping and falling. One time running up to the roosevelt island tramway in NYC my DH and 2 dds were romping up the steps but me and ds wanted to take the lift when it came it looked like a death trap so we had to run up the stairs to catch up. At the top of the stairs was a tiny lip maybe an inch that I just caught my foot on, I went flying sprawled out on the floor for all to see. I was mortified, my whole family were mortified and panicking as the kids had gone through the barrier. It absolutely killed but had to put on a brave face, all the Americans were asking me if I was okay. I just wanted to crawl in a hole and cry. Can laugh about it now but oh my 😳😳😳 definitely not my finest hour 😂 xx

I walked all the way from our office to the bank and back with my skirt tucked in my knickers. It’s years ago now but I still feel mortified when I think about it🥺
