What we=are doing e

This will be the first year for a long time we have not been able to meet a young adult leaving care to support over the
Holiday season so in our church we are all supporting every young person who has registered with our group from March to the end of this month
Many of them will be able to stay where they are but 25/35% won’t be they are very very scared right now so if you can offer any of them even a hot meal get them seen at a community Gp clinic even a McDonald’s please do
And,any of them have a dog because it’s they only thing that
Loves them unconditionally so they come as a package
Believe me it can be the most rewards thing you do supporting one of these
Kids we know it is first hand

Its always good to reach out to someone less fortunate. My sons friend had a bad childhood, his parents were just not always there for him. He is a loner, but DS visits him regularly to check on him. I always send round a few treats and stocking ( he never had christmas growing up) and get them a takeaway on christmas eve. We do invite him for christmas dinner but doesnt ever come as he is agraphobic and doesnt go out, so we send him a soare meal. Some people do have it so tough.
