Induction hob with gas burner

Has anyone got one? I want a new hob but I don't want to give up on gas completely.

You mean hob and not thread im guessing.

Didnt know these existed until now, before i got our all induction hob i would have gone for one of these, but having had an induction hob for a couple of years i love it, it heats up so fast. The only downside is you cant do anything you need a flame for, which in our case would amount to being as an emergency fag lighter or to burn a marshmallow. - oh yeha, you cant cook american popcorn in a tin tray on it, for some reason it just burnt it all.

Glad you like your induction hob, I’m getting one for my new kitchen.

I have edited it thank you. That's me multi tasking and watching Brave New World at the same time!

But I swear I altered hob before I posted.

Not had any wine for days, perhaps that's the problem!

I have an induction hob and a gas hob in our 2 kitchen home. I've LeCruset pots so use them on both
Personal preference gas especially the wok burner I use it all the time for big pots like soup pasta boiling a whole gammon joint cooking a whole salmon or doing something delicate like Choux pastry

Just go full induction you wont miss the gas at all I promise.
It took me less than a day to adjust, I dont think about gas at all now and .i was really worried about the change. Induction is just so easy and nice to keep clean too.

I think I’d possibly be interested in a dual hob. Didn’t know they existed.
I’m not a fan of induction at all but everyone tells me I’d get used to it. So far I have not.
I wouldn’t give up gas for the ability to char and I judge heat for temperature critical things by seeing a flame.
This sounds interesting

* Now I’ve thought about it, what’s the point?! Genuine question. I’m not sure why you’d want both? By ‘you’ I mean one but that sounds ridiculous!

Well from what I've seen so far I think it would be cheaper to have both than the combined one.

I found an AEG one. They are called mixed induction.
