Just read on facebook this is closing for good on 15th september. I didnt realise this so must of missed it if it has been posted alreadr... sorry!
Anyone know what is replacing it?

Apparantly Nothing is set to replace it at the moment apparantly high running costs and poor guest feedback as lead to bosses deciding to close it.

To be honest it was really poor and surprised it has lasted this long.

Finally. One of the worst shows I have ever seen. 20 mins of life wasted.
I am amazed this 'show' has lasted so long.

Saw it in 2016 and yes i agree not the best 🙊😂! Was more interested in what will go in its place especially with plans for a 3rd park in the future...

The shows at Universal is what let’s the parks down the most. Back in the 90s that what made Universal great with the wild west show,bettlejuice and ghostbusters. Now we got the very poor fear factor and soon 2 big theatres just SBNO. When was the theatre near toon lagoon last used?

I actually enjoyed sinbad as a cheesy show. Wonder what they will do to replace it? The theatre is totally themed to that show so they'd have to do some serious remodelling to get it themed for something else. Maybe they will knock the whole thing down and put a ride there, or just strip it back to a barebones theatre and use it for seasonal stuff.

I always wanted a waterworld show like they have at the other parks.

Still, we will hopefully get to watch Sinbad for the last time as Saturday 15th is our first full park day and we were planning to go to Universal anyway. Crazy. We saw Terminator 2 last year 2 weeks before it shut too!

I'd better stop going, they keep shutting things down whenever we do lol!

It didn't look wonderful but I'd never seen it and was hoping to give it a try next year. Ah well. In the months that follow I hope something replaces it. As said above, Universal is pretty thin on the show count at the moment.

We watched it for the first time last week after always not bothering with it and thought it was a bit of fun and the added bonus of a 30 minute sit down. We actually watched of a second time just to get out of the sun both times there wasn't many in watching it so can understand why they are closing it.

I blame their weird spelling - Sindbad? What's all that about?



I guess they might retheme it as a Harry Potter show, perhaps a magic duel show or something Quidditch related? There was talk of something like that several years ago.

Just thinking that the rumoured Harry Potter live show could go here instead of taking over the fear factor area.
