Flight price Easter
What would people consider a good price for Easter 2020? Can take a day or 2 before kids break up so around 27th March. Prices currently are £1k ish each virgin and TUI or £800 ish each TC. Does this sound about right? Was hoping for around £600pp is that realistic and will BA likely do a good sale?

We've been most Easters for the last few years. We fly indirect LHR-MCO for around £500 - £550 each. We don't mind who we fly with, we just go with the cheapest.
This year we're going in the summer and found that flights into and out of Tampa are significantly cheaper than MCO, so that will be an option for us for Easter 2020. We've just set up searches for our outbound flight into Kayak and Skyscanner so we will start getting notified that flights are available over the next couple of weeks - it adds to our excitement!. Some people say they get cheaper prices by waiting for sales, but we've always found booking as soon as the flights come out has been cheapest for us. Maybe thats because we are restricted to school holidays and there are lots of people chasing flights on the same days?

We went 2016, booked in summer 2015, with BA - £815 each - direct from Gatwick to MCO and back - going a couple of days before Easter break, unfortunately returning the last weekend of it (like everybody else in the UK I think!).
Trouble is that all of those things are variable, when you book, the dates you book for each end, who you book with etc. A good price always comes down to the price you are willing to pay. |

We went in 2017 flying out just before the kids broke up and returning before Easter weekend and got flights with Virgin from Manchester for around £435pp - flying direct out and indirect via JFK back. Booked them in July 2016. I think flexibility is the key if you want good prices - being flexible about which airport you fly from and in to can make a big difference.
