Best way to pay?

Usually we have taken dollars with us but want to this time use a card ?

I’m not sure what our Cc charges and what the exchange rate would be

Is there a decent and easy way of a prepaid card or something else you all use ?

We used our Cc in Spain last and was charged €3 every transaction which obviously mounted up.

We used Revolut when there in September, it’s a pre-paid card and you’re not charged to use it or for cash withdrawals

I use Halifax clarity for anything abroad. Good rates and no transaction fees. I do take cash too

I take cash and use my Halifax clarity credit card as well. Clarity has no overseas transaction fees and if I need extra cash, I can withdraw it with no charge (if the atm is free) I then go online that night and pay off the cash I just took, so no interest charge...or maybe a penny if using your credit or debit card... stick a little piece of paper over your ccv2 (security) number and stick it down...Nobody...and I mean nobody needs to see that number except you... people wonder how their cards get scammed, it's in a café etc when the waiter uses your number and takes a note of your ccv2...once they have that, they can use it online
