Busch Gardens Tampa School Program

We usually have a wonderful experience at Busch Gardens Tampa.
Not so this week.
BGT have a schools project to allow Florida State 5th Grade achievers to visit the Park. So on Thursday we arrived to a wait line at entrance of longer than 1hour. Food lines longer than 1 hour. Long ride lines with in supervised young children behaving noisily . Yes they were having fun. But we would not choose to be in the Park with them. There was no information prior to us arriving .
Customer Relations acknowledged our complaint. BGT were under resources to receive these thousands yes thousands of young children.
A thoroughly bad experience and waste of money. Shame on you BGT.

When we went in August there was very few staff. Absolute chaos boarding the rides

So No one else is allowed to go to the park on the same day as yourselves. How dare those schools be so inconsiderate

You missed the point entirely ! BGT knew and they failed to give us the opportunity ..

So should all the parks notify everyone who plans to go during the summer months to change their plans as thousands if South American groups are in the parks

C'mon you're being disengenuous here. OP was making the point that Busch did not have the staff to cope with thousands on kids descending on their park and as a result, it affected their quality of visit.

Also OP, thanks for posting as it's a good heads up for those trip planning and expecting a quiet day at BG.
