Also flying UC. What is the dress code for UC? I can't seem to find online or get told a proper answer over the phone.

It's whatever you feel comfortable in.
Last year I went for jeans and a polo shirt.

My sister was in tracksuit bottoms!

As per Scully above.
I wear jeans and a polo. My Wife wears a blouse and skirt but will change into jeans before we land at Gatwick.
My Son who doesn't own trousers wears shorts and a T Shirt.

Thank you both.So knee length smart shorts and a short sleeved shirt/polo top would be passable for a man?, i don't wear skirts/dresses ,so would 3/4 length trousers be ok for me with a smart top?.

That will be fine. To be honest you see all types of clothing. Quite a few Guys wearing tatty old jackets and Women who look like a Million dollars.
My view is dress as we would normally, we keep ourselves to ourselves and then people watch!

Funniest thing I ever saw was some stuck up piece, maybe 28 or so. All waiting to board at Orlando and she strides up to the desk and says in a loud put on voice ''I'm here we can go now'' Everybody was laughing at her!

Footwear, I wore my sketchers go walks.

I also had some slippers rom a hotel which I wore for the flight and then left them on the plane.

UC is no different to any other class on the plane - you just need to be comfy.
