DDP list inconsistency?

I've already made my <180 ADRs, and am quite happy with them, but interestingly I based my selections on the official PDF DDP 2017 list of restaurants, and began noticing that on the WDW site lists MANY more participating places than on the PDF.

For example, I originally ruled out Tokyo Dining as it wasn't on there, but according to the website you can redeem there. In fact there are only 5 table service locations on the PDF, and 15 places on the website that say it's available ! That's just for EPCOT and i'm sure there are more.

Am I missing something here or being thick? Is there a proper list somewhere?

If you have the MyDisneyExperience app then you can look on each restaurant and it will tell you whether dining plans are accepted. Alternatively if you google WDW DDP 2017 then the first hit that comes up is the wdwinfo one which has a table of which restaurants are in for which plans. Hope this helps

This happens every year - some externally owned restaurants are slower to sign up.

To be honest, almost every TS restaurant within WDW will be on the DDP except those in the Swan & Dolphin, and Victoria & Albert's.

Wow I didn't know this. I think i'm happy with the selections I made but certainly worth having a look through the list for the CS ones too.

I'm not sure why the 2017 list is so out of date. Usually everything is updated in December of the year before.

I chose a few restaurants that showed participating on MDE when they were not in the official PDF, so long as they are on there they should be fine!

If you look for my query on Disney Springs. I had a response from loves2plan with a full list of table and QS places. I had same issue with PDF showing 1 restaurant for Disney Springs
