Crt or akershus princess breakfast
Hi had planned to do akershus for princess breakfast but due to changes in our party we now can't get a table for 5 only 3 so either checking each day for cancellation or worse case leave family behind. However there's a table in crt for same day for 5 and the price doesn't seem that much difference. Anyone done both and have a preference? Think dd would love either so do I book crt?

The setting at CRT is much better as it's in the castle. The food at Akershus is a bit better plus it's all you can eat but we thought CRT was nice too.

I'm assuming you're OOP since you mentioned price. They're both too expensive for me OOP but I would do CRT purely because it's in the castle. And as you say, they're pretty similar in price - CRT includes tax and tip, so probably about even in the end. Although Akershus is a buffet so if you have big eaters, it may be better value. However if you are on DDP, Akershus is better value either way as it's only 1 credit opposed to 2.
If you have any flexibility in your schedule and want Akershus, try for it on an Epcot EMH morning. People are using this as a PPO to get to the Frozen ride so if EMH hours are announced, you could get a lot of cancellations. |

Thank you. Its our first trip and first day so I guess the setting will be amazing for her in crt. Yes will keep checking for cancellations later on for akershus but we have husker house and h and v booked so may leave it. She just wants breakfast with princess so hopefully the kingdom setting will be what shec remembers more than food.
Yes we are oop as offsite. Many thanks |

I've done both. If you've got little girls in tow Cindy's every time. Location, location, location! Also it's less cramped and less noisy in there. (All Disney restaurants are cramped and noisy apart from a few hotel signatures so that is a 'relative' comment). Also. First day first trip you should be on MK as far as I'm concerned 🙂

We didn't expect much food wise, we just went for the experience but were pleasantly surprised. We got a massive plate of pastries between 2 of us and the breakfast was really nice.
Also being 2 adults, we didn't expect to get the wands and wishing star but we did ( I gave mine to a little girl in the mine train queue, she almost cried) and my DD carried hers around all day (she's 32) I say go for it, your DD will love it.
