Just done our ESTAs. Everyone authorized apart from my husband. When asked about mental disorders we put yes as he has Epilepsy. Should I have said no? What do I do now? Help! |

Give it 10 minutes and log back in and see if it's updated. Sometimes there is a delay

You need to phone first thing in the morning to get it sorted and a no would have been correct many people have tripped up on this one it refers to severe mental health disorders

As soon as you put yes it will be refused.
There is information on how to contact them here help.cbp.gov/app/answers/det...ta-application And more information on the question Physical or Mental Disorders With regard to physical or mental disorders, answer 'Yes' to this question if: (a) You currently have a physical or mental disorder and a history of behavior associated with the disorder that may pose or has posed a threat to your property, safety or welfare or that of others; or (b) You had a physical or mental disorder and a history of behavior associated with the disorder that has posed a threat to your property, safety or welfare or that of others and the behavior is likely to recur or lead to other harmful behavior. Answer 'No' if: (a) You currently have no physical or mental disorders; or (b) You have or had a physical or mental disorder without associated behavior that may pose or has posed a threat to your property, safety or welfare of that of others; or (c) You currently have a physical or mental disorder with associated behavior, but that behavior has not posed, does not currently pose nor will pose a threat to your property, safety or welfare or that of others; or (d) You had a physical or mental disorder with associated behavior that posed a threat to your property, safety or welfare or that of others, but that behavior is unlikely to recur. . Epilepsy is a well recognised condition and so surely they will have dealt with someone filling in the form this way.
Long story short - don't worry, they will help to fix it if you ask them. |

Hopefully, because it's unlikely you'll get a visa in 28 days. A prime example of why to not leave it so late.
