Confirmation Email

I have booked for 14 nights SSR 25th Oct 2018 however i have still yet to receive the confirmation email that you get 330 days out. Am i still early to receive this?

I think we got ours at about 280 days out. I think because it’s a DVC resort, they have to ensure they allocate those first and give the members the opportunity to book first, before confirming any other bookings.

Think I got mind at about 323 days from departure so could come any day I would think

Disney have a totally separate allocation for non DVC guests in normal circumstances and the reason for the confirmations not until x many days before is to give the exact advance confirmation as DVC home resort guests but this is now possibly complicated due to resort refurb works and potentially lower availability than when the OKW non DVC resort booking opened.

However, you may be fortunate and get an upgrade, Disney do their best to accommodate ‘cash’ customers, a couple of my friends received upgrades from studios to 1 beds.

We booked a 2 Bed SSR. So i definately think we are under 320 days out. Just havent received the confirmation yet. I realise the reasoning behind the wait, however if we dont receive it does that mean we didnt get what we booked?

Our 330 days was Christmas Eve so we are 4 days behind you but not really expecting to hear anything just yet although as mentioned in another thread may be worth calling Disney. Have you tried linking it in MDE ?

We go on 26th to SSR and had our confirmation last week after chasing e travel agent for it, apparently there is a backlog

Ya i tried linking but it couldnt find our reservation so i had to put in the mobile number, hotel etc and still nothing. We are 26th Oct & check out 9th November, so what days are we, i presume 319 or something like that.

We're still waiting for ours - I must admit despite everyone saying 'it will be fine', I wish Disney would get their finger out and let us know. We go the 27th Oct.
