Don’t rush around the parks from ride to ride, you’ll more than likely have another trip in the future and you can do everything you’ve missed then.

Make sure you book fastpasses for in the same areas of the park. So book thunder mountain, splash mountain together because they are close, don’t have splash mountain, then space mountain and then thunder mountain as you will be going back and forth across the park and that can be exhausting!

Fireworks and the nighttime shows/parades we didn’t know about them before our first visit, but we have definitely made up for it since, also the water parks they’re fantastic,a great day is water park in the morning and then lunch and a rest before a park in the dark and the fireworks.

Make sure you have a pen in your carry on luggage for filling in the forms on the plane.

Oh one more thing! (Well, just now, more will come no doubt). If there is one happening, drive down and see a launch at Cape Canaveral. There are no words to describe how awesome it is. You can watch from Kennedy Space Centre, Cocoa Beach or like we did, the side of the Freeway...

That you don’t need tickets to every park on your 1st visit. It’s too much to pack all the parks in, save some for your next visit as guaranteed there will be another trip 😉

No matter if you think your child is too old for a buggy, if they are 6 or under i would get one... the average person can walk 10 miles a day staying in Disney and lets be honest the kids are running most of this... they will get tired, would you expect them to walk over 100 miles in 2 weeks at home. of course not... let them recharge their batteries so they can enjoy the holiday of a lifetime to full extent :]

coming from the uk be careful how much sugar you intake, last time we over dosed just by eating what looks good but we were not prepared for most things to be as sweet as it was,at home we would not be eating most of the things we did,we said hey we are on holiday lets try stuff and paid for it after 7 days feeling sluggish with not much energy.i have a totally different plan this time and hopefully it will go well

And I guess that’s the other thing...don’t think of it like a ‘once in a lifetime’ holiday as it’s likely you’ll be planning your return before you are home :-)
For some people it really is a 'once in a lifetime' holiday because of finances and/or other reasons.
