Discovery Cove- thoughts appreciated

Hi looking to add a day at Discovery Cove to our plans. Looking for info on how far in advance people book?
Cheers

Discovery Cove limit the daily numbers, think it's 1300-1500 so if your dates are not very flexible I'd suggest booking as early as possible

Thank you for reply. I think need to just pick a date and go for it. Was going to wait until had ADRs and FP firmed up but think that may be a risky strategy now!

You could always book it for a weekend date to avoid busy days at the parks? 😊

We had a fantastic day at Disc Cove last year.
I say go and make sure you have a go pro or similar for the grand reef.

Our Discovery Cove day is always the best day of the holiday in Orlando. The place is relaxing, uncrowded and all-inclusive (but admittedly not cheap in the first place!) Definitely take a Go-Pro or similar type camera for snorkelling in the Grand Reef.

If you're in Orlando for 2 weeks, I'd book towards the end of the first week so you get the relaxing break-day close to halfway through your holiday. If the weather is inclement on your booked day Discovery Cove may remain closed - but if you're in Orlando for a further week you stand a chance of being able to rebook your day before you fly home.

DC is a lovely relaxing day. We all really enjoyed it. I would plan for a specific day and book it . Book for your first week just in case you need to cancel and 're book.

It’s really worth it and as someone has said above, go for a Saturday as you’ll then only be missing a very busy day in another park!

I’d also recommend booking a cabana if your budget can stretch to this - think it’s called the elite package- as it’s a lovely private area for you stocked with drinks and snacks and means that all your photos from the day are included too
