Toronto hotels! Help

Anybody stayed in Toronto in a clean budget hotel, I need two rooms and might possibly need to add more rooms. My son lives in Etobicoke and told me not to get a hotel near the airport because traffic is mad. One room needs to be a double and one with two doubles, why do all rooms have two doubles in them? It Can be in the city but can’t seem to afford anything. I was thinking about £1,500 for two rooms, am I being unrealistic.

Towards Etobicoke off 427/27, Hampton Inns from £70 up, closest to Toronto Airport Corporate Centre £89 up.

Agree about traffic but not sure it's any worse than staying in town, and parking will be cheaper, or free.

There are plenty of others but we like Hampton Inns best. If you haven't registered with Hilton Honors it's worth it for special rates.

I’m going to look at Hampton inns, was thinking air B and B but we wanted people to be able to book rooms if Need be. Thanks for the help both of you x

We stayed at the Homewood suites, not far from the airport, a few years back, with 2 adults and 3 children, and had a 2 bedroomed suite. One room had a kingsize bed, and the other had 2 doubles, both with an en-suite, and a sofa bed in the living area. Was quite a reasonable price and a decent breakfast was included.

I’ve booked Radisson Toronto airport at a bargain price, it’s with Agoda so hope they are legit! It’s 10 mins drive to Etabicoke.

Traffic everywhere around Toronto is insane Make sure you have a good sat nav.
