I have not heard back from the swan & dolphin but Disney have emailed me back with this information;
No magical express No charge for roll out bed if the youngest is under 9 Resort fee is per room not per person. They did not answer my question regarding moving our luggage. So will have to wait for S&D reply I am wondering if it’s worth the hassle though |

It all sounds a lot of hassle for one night? Weve stayed there several times and have booked again.
Why only one night?

The problem with the Swan and Dolphin is a combination of hidden charges, taxes and what’s not included. And I say this as a fan of the Swan and Dolphin - We stayed there for our 2 week holiday in WDW last year.
You see the Dolphin charges a $30/nt resort fee plus $5 taxes, there’s no free DME so you’ll need a transfer from MCO, which with 5 will require an XL Uber at $60 one-way (considerably more for a 5 pax taxi). These add another $100 for the night to whatever you’ve been quoted. Make no mistake, the S&D can be far cheaper than the nearby options at the Yacht or Beach Club. When we stayed they were available for $6,000, but the Disney quote includes taxes, no hidden resort fee, free DME and Magicbands. The Dolphin quoted a rate of $150/nt which was $2,100 - just a third of the Beach Club rate, but the hidden costs of the Dolphin were heavy, taxes on the rate, the daily resort fee, and the taxes on that, the $35e/w Uber’s (there was only 2 of us) and the $15pp Magicbands, plus yet more taxes on those too meant the total cost of the fortnight went up from the quoted $2,100 to $2,900. Still half the price of the Beach Club but those hidden extra costs meant a near 40% increase in the cost to get the same package as Disney quoted all-in! |

It seems like an awful lot of hassle.
Depending on the cost/budget you’d probably be better off just going for Pop.
