July 4th and what to do?

Hey

So we've done Florida plenty. This is the 1st time we are going for 3 weeks flying out 3rd July. Is there anything 'tame' but memorable we can do for Independence day that anyone would recommend? Not sure we want to do a park. Plus we are looking at spending a few days at the Beach, Husband would like to end the holiday here after a 'mad' few weeks so we'd be looking to do the parks probably starting 5th so 2 days after we land. Hit me with ideas people!

We were there on 4th July during two holidays. The first time we went to the parade in Celebration. It was fun to see and experience. The next time we went to Discovery Cove. As they only release a certain amount of tickets for any given day, it is never too busy. We had a lovely day away from all the crowds.

We go the first 3 weeks every year so have experienced July 4th a lot.

In the past we have done the parks (mega busy so avoid now - but a good experience)
We have also done Discovery Cove which was amazing, chilled out and relaxed.
The past few years we have gone shopping in the morning and dinner at California Grill to watch the fireworks.
Next year we are going shopping in the morning, pool in the afternoon then the new Cirque du Soliel show at Disney Springs in the evening.

I’ve heard a few people talk about an old fashioned July 4th picnic in Winter Park but never experienced it so not sure what it’s like.

Whatever you choose to do I’m sure you will enjoy it.
