Go pro 7
Anyone got 1? any good? I am considering this for my next trip but am a little clueless. All I want to do is record a few bits and bobs and watch back through the TV. Is a Gopro the right piece of equipment for this?

Iv got one. to be honest it's great for what it is designed but You will get far superior pictures and videos in the parks from a phone.
SeaWorld waterparks and DC the pro comes into it's own. I bought it for rides etc like I assume you are too also. But I end up using my phone for quality if water is not involved. |

I bought a cheap clone from Amazon which is fine for occasional use around the water parks. I thought the picture quality was excellent too.

I have a Hero 7 Black... Amazing image stabilisation, great for water parks and rides (where allowed)... But the audio isn't the best, so for us it'll probably only see regular use as a vlogging camera when the rain is too heavy to use the main camera. Quite a lot of money for just the odd bit of use though.

The Hero 7 Black is very good. The stabilization is excellent as is image quality. Sound is OK, fine for home videos and the Timewarp feature is excellent.
It has better video than any phone I’ve ever used, but this is the black version. I also have a Panasonic G9 which is phenomenal, but that’s over a grand. This is filmed entirely on Hero 7 Black (is in low res here, go to watch it on YouTube and set it to 4K to see it properly, or at least select 720p on the cog on the imbedded video below): Now this is what you can film on a Panasonic G9 which is £1000 ish without a lens (albeit you need the filming and editing skills also! again select at least 720p but try and watch in 4k):
