Mobile Feral cats at Port Orleans and other accommodation

Literally just opened my apartment door at Port Orleans to a little black kitten meowing for food! It then fell into a bush where there were a lot 5 other kittens

Someone please tell me these are feral and allowed in the resort to catch rodents and not a litter that someone’s dumped!

perhaps report this to the hotel. At least they can get them taken away to an animal shelter. This does not sound particuallry normal.

I have reported it and Disney seemed surprised about it

There was a report earlier in the year that some carry rabies so best thing is to avoid them.

Not sure why they’re surprised, there are loads of cats on Disney property, they keep the mice and rats down. There’s a whole colony at Disney Springs, the Valet parking guys feed them!

Spoke to the workers outside and they were comfortable with them being around. They have put traps down to capture them and they apparently take them to a vet at Animal Kingdom

Wow! I’ve stayed at both POR multiple times and never seen a kitty. I saw a gator at Beach Club once though near the bus stop. That really freaked me out 😬
