NCL where has my cruise gone

Hi Everyone,

We booked a cruise with NCL on the Getaway last year to travel on Aug 9th this year. I have just been on the website and my cruise has gone there seems to be no cruises on the Getaway and when I log in to my account my cruise says default itinerary name instead of 11 day cruise to Greek islands and Italy.I have no heard anything from them and it seems just my ship is the one no appearing anywhere. Can anyone through any light on this.

We sailed on the Getaway in February and absolutely loved it!

My guess is maybe they’ve decided not to reposition to Europe (assuming it was sailing from and around Europe) but have not yet updated people already booked ? Just a guess though. Hoping they pull through as we love sailing on NCL.

I had a quick look on cruise critic and it appears NCL are not expecting to be cruising much if at all before September, and that most of their ships are going into ‘proper’ rather than temp storage (that’s not the correct word but hopefully makes sense)

When I go on the website it is the only ship not sailing this year. I am gutted booked flights and hotel

NCL themselves are saying most / all cruises are unlikely to go before September. According to a press release anyway. Maybe they are in the process of updating their website?

Would your insurance cover you? Fingers crossed you can sort something out.

I will call them tomorrow I found out after 6.30pm and then they were closed

Interesting. We have a cruise booked on the Getaway for October. I'll go and have a look. We want to move it anyway.

Just had a look and cruises are still showing on the Getaway so maybe it was a website error.

Hope you get this sorted. It may be a glitch or a sign that they are likely to be soon cancelling cruise. Its hard to know as many cruiselines are pulling cruises from sail or changing things in the background so its worth phoning and checking. Hope you get it sorted!
