Haha well I thought i’d have more back up on this site where people spend £15/20k on a holiday, UC flights and deluxe resorts etc, but I obviously am just crackers 🤔
Still asking hubby though

No you aren't crackers at all. Experiences are individual and are unique to each person.
I wouldn't personally pay that much but certainly wouldn't think anyone who did was wrong. Just a question though. Do people leave there satiated? I don't like being overfull after a meal, but I also don't like still being hungry. Just wondering. Let us know what your Husband says please.

As a couple of others have said for a special treat we loved The Waterside Inn in Bray, much better location and we even took their boat out on the river! Fabulous experience 😊

You are right of course, it is up to the individual as to how they spend their money. We have friends who spend around a £1000 every 2 months on cigarettes. That’s up to them but I prefer food

We had a fabulous meal and stay at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons
It cost around £1300, probably more than 100 average steak dinners, but it was wonderful.

Some friends took us there, it was lovely.
Would love to go to the Fat Duck, like you say, it's worth the money just for the experience!

We had to take them home for later. Hard to imagine that you’d feel so full after so many little plates of food!
