I can't imagine how difficult things are for you all and I'm sorry to hear Isabel is still in so much pain but its great to hear that other things have improved. Fingers crossed for the scan

I spend each day waking up to give her therapy tablets (no food for an hour after), then an hour later trying to get her to eat something as ibuprofen and the steroids need to be eaten with food, monitoring if she’s drunk enough, persuading her to try and eat with no appetite or sip ensure drinks to add calories, never mind tracking how long since she’s last ‘been’. Add to that physio, therapy, scan and consultant appointments and being her social secretary replying to the many wonderful family and friends who check in daily on her And the days seem almost endless, but I look back and it’s 8 weeks since she was discharged from her 8 weeks in hospital- where did it go?

And that’s why a daily check in on the Dibb, with a biscuit and a cappuccino is good for the blood pressure and the soul!
