Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition

Has anyone played the newly released Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition yet? Read mixed views and players getting trojan viruses.

Not played it myself, but as this is an official release also through Steam, I am not sure how you could get a virus or trojen horse through the game.

I would imagine there would be other factors if people have viruses, and certainly not through the game, if they have purchased it through the proper stores anyway.

Also it's on Xbox gamespass for PC which I would thoroughly recommend.

Does it include the expansion packs with the HD version? I own that, bought it a few years ago. Used to LOVE Age Of Empires II.

Yea it does include all of the expansions from the original game too. If you have Xbox game pass you can play it on that. I think it's worth the money if you play games often.

I have a DELL laptop with 4k screen resolution, will I still be able to get the game in 4k even though it’s not a Microsoft surface as I know you need a Microsoft laptop to view a Microsoft store movie.

Age of empires was my jam! I bought the first DE release, while good there were some annoying ai issues and now being an adult I hardly was able to spend much time with it. AoE 2 was probably one of my all time favourite games, I'll probably be buying this just so it can sit on my PC unplayed 😋
