There’s also a couple of attractions we have been thinking about such as gatorland, ripleys believe it or not and wonderworks. Also the pirates dinner show.

We are not quite sure if to go all out and go to all these places or not. Or maybe hold back and save more so we can return sooner.

We have decided that this will be the last florida holiday for the next few years. We have decided to get a few bits done with the house and hammer the mortgage a bit before going back to Disney. It’s not exactly what we want but it’s the smart thing to do.

I’ve gotten some great dresses and tops for the kids from primark so they are kitted out for that. Need some little white pumps for going out, some more trainers for the kids and some all in one swim suits then I think the kids will be done.

Starting to get a bit more excited now. Not too many more shifts to go.
And I’ll be back to the happy place

So glad I did all my snacks yesterday with the kids. Was so poorly last night and this morning. My endo seems to have flared up. So I’m sat here bored with a hot water bottle, can’t see straight as the codine makes me a bit funny.
Must remember to get some more painkillers and pack them in the hand luggage this time. Do not want a repeat of last years.

Nearly have all my spending money saved up. Over estimated again so hopefully will have a nice little amount left when we get home.

Would do more planning today but I don’t think I have anything left!

Well I got a lovely email from virgin today.

We knew it was going to happen but still bothers me

Our holiday has been cancelled due to covid19

We darent rebook just in case everything goes wrong.

As long as we have each other nothing else matters and for me as long as my husband and kids are doing well then that’s all I need.

I hate not being able to give the kids Disney. They were so excited but hopefully soon we will be able to go back.
Maybe Georgia will have grown more and we can go on the bigger rides with her. Downside is will now get fined by school for her.

I will hope I will get all my money back but I doubt it.

So it was
£4280 for virgin holidays (have filled in a form for it to be refunded)
£1769 upgrade to annual pass (will request in June when my pass expires for a refund not sure how much I will get back though)
£65 airport parking (will request this from holiday extras but assuming it will be a voucher)
£120 annual insurance (well this will just be a full waste as it won’t be used on any holidays now)

I think in total we will have lost £1000. Mostly as I stupidly got the annual pass as it was supposed to save me more than £300.

Gonna have a pity party. Off to make a cuppa and drown in chocolate

I'm a bit late to this but I'm very sorry to hear that your holiday was cancelled and that you will loose money from it. I hope you get to make new plans soon.
