Virgin August 1st MAN-MCO cancellation email

We’ve just received the email regarding the cancellation of my sons flight on August 1st from Manchester. It’s a bit odd as up until yesterday we had seats etc booked and the only thing virgin can say on WhatsApp is that the return flight is currently still scheduled followed by a smiley face
It causes a major headache as we are flying out 4 days later and we were to join them, I honestly couldn’t go knowing he can’t but hubby is saying he will
I’m curious as to if the flight itself has been cancelled or if they’ve just been bumped off due to too many bums and not enough seats
Is there anyone else due to fly on this flight that hasn’t been cancelled? It was the 10am VS75

We've got flights a week later from MAN. Originally 11 but now 10. Our booking looks live.

New planned scheduled dates from MAN-MCO are 3 times weekly from 2nd August, and twice weekly from 31 Aug.

Obviously no guarantee of them going but you could change your son's flight for later date.

Would you know which 3 days flying in August? We fly on a Saturday and hoping for a cancellation.

Apologise, typed too quickly. MAN-MCO should read 4 weekly from 2nd Aug 20 and 3 weekly from 31st August.

I only checked because this morning I saw my flight LHR-MIA had been changed from 16 Aug to 18 Aug and then found out that was the first day scheduled.

I called and changed our flights to MCO instead.
