Yes hit this months weight target
Third month since I started my weight loss and fitness regime and dropped my 3rd stone in 3 months.
One more stone and one month to go and will be down to my goal. In October I had covid and self isolated for 2 weeks. I am sure if I hadn't have got off my ≈≈≈≈ and done something about it the virus could have been much worse. I am in my mid 50's so seems harder to shift then in my younger years If your determined to loose weight you can Edited at 08:52 PM. |

Well done.
I am in a similar situation. 57 year old diabetic male who weighed 26 stone in May... Now I weigh 18 stone so I have lost 8 stone in 5 months. Still a couple of stone to go but I am really pleased with what I have achieved so far. I have always had weight problems and never really succeeded at dieting. The threat of Covid gave me an extra incentive to go for it (and I know I shouldn't have needed it) so I have managed to get one positive out of this horrible year.

Well done, it's an amazing feeling to lose so much weight sensibly!
I've managed to keep my 4.5 st off since starting SW in Jan 2017. I wish I could have lost another 2 stone but it was too hard being over 50, my body just stopped, it had had enough. I'm still happy with the way I look, if I had gone further then I'd of looked too scrawny. Still dropped 4 dress sizes though, wished I'd done it years ago. Keep going, you'll ace it! |

Keep up the good work and you will soon get there I started at near 17 and it was only going to go up if I didn't do something. |

Wow, well done! The most I can ever loose in a month is 6 - 7lb
I loose weight incredibly slowly, probably due to my underactive thyroid and menopause 🥺 |

Don't like the gym so my wife and daughter bought me a hybrid bike for my birthday at the end of July.
Have been out most days doing a variation of 1, 1.5, 2 and 3 hour rides. On the first stone I would burn of nearly 1000 calories per ride but as the stones went this decreased to less than half for the same effort My wife measured my chest, waist and hips and I weighed myself at the start and each month would chart the new figures. I also weighed myself daily and wrote done my weekly figures which seem to be a regular 1.5kg After the first month I filled a bucket with 6.35 litres of water ( 1 litre of water =1kg) the same weight as I had lost and it was amazing to think that's what I had lost . Now am at 3 bucket fulls. Tbh I had trouble lifting it nevermind carrying it around every day I stopped eating sugar and bread. I also increased my water intake and drank half I pint of water before my main meals to partially fill me up. I also read that if you don't drink enough water your brain becomes dehydrated and you believe you are hungry leading to unessesary eating. So take onboard more fluids Stopped snacking between meals. I think the true test once I hit my goal is not putting it back on and keeping to my cycling Edited at 09:20 AM. |
