We only went to the NOLWR one because they sold the large jars of Marie's chunky blue cheese dressing which Joan bought home. CC didn't stock the large jars.

We loved Bahama Bay when we stayed there, and the short cut to Disney is fantastic, literally get to Animal Kingdom in 15 mins if you time it right. Good pools, hige condos, lovely nature walk, we saw so much wildlife there.

Disney Springs is about 13 miles from Bahama Bay. The time it takes will depend on the time of day that you travel. It should take 20 to 30 minutes. However of you decide to use the 192 and I4 during the rush hour then be prepared for a manic experience. From Bahama Bay entrance turn left on Florence Villa Grove Road. In one mile at the school junction turn left onto Westside Boulevard. Be careful here because one of the local bobbies sometimes sits there with a speed gun. Drive down to the junction with the 192 and go straight across. At one mile turn right opposite the Palisades Condominium onto the Hertzog Road, follow this for three miles and you join the Western Way which is three miles from the Coronado Springs Resort. Turn right for Animal Kingdom, turn left for everywhere else. For the return journey from wherever you are in the parks, follow signs for Coronado Springs.

I think it has something to do with the speed limit on 27 and how far you can see. Basically a right on red will be banned if it is likely to be dangerous.
They are starting work on a Publix etc plaza in that area too.

Sorry for jumping on this thread late, but I have plenty of helpful maps showing how to get from Bahama Bay to Disney (including the shortcuts). If you would like any other information or photos about the resort, I'll be happy to answer them.
Fingers crossed we will be able to get out there again soon, had both my troops cancelled last year
