Best time to go summer 2021
Which is the best time to go? Last 2 weeks in July or Mid August for a 2021 holiday or is it worth waiting until 2022 when all building work is finished at Epcot.

I’ve booked late August, as the parks are much quieter as the American kids are back at school

Its really down to personal choice.
Avoid school holidays if possible. Epcot is an interesting one, we have just come home and are planning our next trip, the issue is there is always something being built. Do you wait another year and wait for the new universal park also? |

Having done all the dates throughout the summer holidays due to working in a school, I still prefer the middle /end of Aug. The only thing I look for is the prices of flights because they can fluctuate massively at the end of August compared to mid August or early September. I go with the cheapest with my favourite being around 9th August for 3 weeks.

We've always been tied to school holidays and have tried all different times during the spring and summer holidays. I would agree that the middle to the end of August is definitely quieter than the other weeks but still fairly busy. Having just taken early retirement I can't wait for our next trip in May, Hopefully the parks will be significantly quieter.

If you're going during the school summer holidays then the latter half of August would be the best time to go (relatively speaking).
It'll be hot and humid, but that's true whether you go in July or August. However, the crowds will be slightly less at the end of August than in July.
