What to do, please advise

Hi everyone we booked our trip through Disney directly to go September 2020 without flights although we were offered the deal of a lifetime and managed to get a new house which means we are no longer able to go as we have had to use our savings for the new house. We are hopeful to be able to go the following September but not sure what we should/need to do. We have only paid the £200 deposit to Disney. We are unsure if we should just cancel outright and lose our deposit or try and change our dates in the hope we will be able to go. Any advice would be welcome

Fantastic news re house! Adulting side - it’s a much better use of savings 😄

Give Disney a ring and see what they say... you might need to wait a bit longer to move to 2021 but they’ll be in the best position to advise you

If you have a free dining offer I would wait to call them until the new offers come out in April as you will be able to get it again with the new offer

I don’t think you would be able to move it now because 2021 rates have not been released. You could ring and ask in January (usually late January) when rates are released, or as per PP, wait until April to see if there is free dining. In the time being, I would just let the booking sit there.
