We have booked a package for next Christmas and were quite surprised that it wasn’t too bad. We fly on Xmas day and have direct virgin flights and 13 nights at the Rosen plaza for 1k each. However we were tied to the Xmas break as we have a lack of annual leave, if you could go in early December I am sure you can get a bargain. We should be going to Gran Canaria this Xmas, flying on Boxing Day and we paid £1200 each, if we could have gone the first weekend in December it was £550!

If you are tied to the 2 weeks of the schools Christmas Holidays, therefore flying weekends there and back, in my experience it is more expensive than summer and Easter. If you have flexibility in when you go in December then you will get some good prices.

Depends when in December you’re thinking of going. The last two weeks over Xmas and New Year prices are usually higher than Easter and Summer hols. We’re going early Dec next year which is the cheapest time to go that month. Early to mid Nov avoiding thanksgiving is also a good time to go and not as expensive as other months but obviously not possible if you have to stick to school hols 😊

Thanks all, not really 100% sure what dates as depends when the schools break up that year and when I can get time off. We had thought of summer but my husband and I were talking and would love to go in December. November would be ideal really with my work but don't think I would get away with taking them out of school for 2 weeks xx
