I know they’re usually lovely and friendly but having seen some of the things they’ve said on other sites etc.. I don’t want to pee anyone off .
We’ve decided to maybe wait till October instead as sure there will be a mass exodus this summer.

I like the beaches in south Devon or south Cornwall best, but if you want waves then you need to stay on the north coast. The prices are crazy though - I was looking near st Ives the other day - carbis bay hotel wanted £4500 for one room (two people) for 12 nights, and a week in august for 4, in a 2 bed lodge (it was very nice) £32,000! I think not lol.

I’ve already noticed the greed of the accommodation sector. Some of the U.K. prices for the summer are staggering.
