Disney Cruise - What to do on board
Hi,
We have never cruised before but am thinking of doing one of the UK ones. Just curious how do you fill your days on the ship? I know there are pools but I'm presuming they're all outside? We have 2 kids 11 & 13 but they wouldn't really be keen on kids clubs. Many thanks Louise

They actually have so much to do on board that's not outside even a cinema! Lots of experiences you book too.
I know you say your kids aren't interested in kids clubs but they are split in ages and usually the older clubs have game consoles etc, they are pretty cool. Your kids might change their mind when they see them 😊 |

Last one we went on our son was 13, we rarely saw him apart from when we dictated he needed to be in attendance. He loved it

We’re doing our first one too from Liverpool & my soon to be 13 year old can’t wait for the clubs! She’s looking forward to meeting new people, hanging out & of course the water slide & meeting all the characters at a distance!

My son is 19 now but has cruised 7 times between 13 and now, 3 times on NCL, twice with RCL and twice on the magic and on every single cruise we have rarely seen him! Usually he goes to the clubs but once he makes friends they often just use the club as a meeting point then go off and do their own thing. Probably a bit different for younger ones though.

There's so much to do on a cruise that you're never bored, the only thing I'll say though is that cruising post Covid could be limited - especially for these cruises. This is a quote from the DCL website

I would definitely take a look at previous navigators on disneycruiselineblog/personal-navigators/ and look at "At sea" days as this will give you an idea of the types of activities they usually offer. Obviously with COVID its hard to know what will and wont be. I would assume some stuff wont be but it gives you an idea.
