Exchanging a car after pickup

Just a random question but I know someone will know the answer to.
When I went to to Orlando last time 2 years ago I pick the car up at the airport but they gave me a free upgrade because they didn't have the small compact one I wanted, but to be quite honest it was too big for me and I wasn't comfortable in it as I was only for 10 days I'll let it go but my question is is if this happens again on my next trip will I be able to go to the DCCC and swap it out for something smaller the next day I will be hiring through Alamo thank you alternatively at the airport can I make them bring me round a smaller car I felt a bit intimidated first time round driving from the airport so I took what was available but this time I will be more confident.

We have changed several times for a variety of reasons, both in Disney and other parts of the US. To be fair we always hire with Alamo and they never quibble. Once I collected an SUV at Newark airport. Several days later we had a puncture leaving Alexandria which was repaired but it was suggested we change the car. As we were going to Skyline drive and the Blue Ridge Mountains we left it until we were close to Roanoke airport. We visited the Alamo depot and were given a replacement car of our choice. When we were returned that vehicle to Newark they refunded the cost of the tyre repair and also a refund as the vehicle we had was apparently a lower level model. Excellent customer service.

We booked with Alamo a few years back and got a slow puncture, i literally rung them on the day of it happening (after having to pump it up at a gas station) and they swapped it over no fuss at all at the Disney Care Car Centre, literally took 10 mins once there.

Almo have replaced our car a number of times. A puncture caused one and another time a warning light came on. No problems, very straightforward
