This film was always going to be one-sided as it was from the book that he wrote. He did spend, I think, 14 years in there so he hardly got away with it. I agree that there should have been trials so that the families could have closure etc. But I believe that the US never had any intention of bringing many to trial because they knew that their “evidence” was inadmissible.
On the question of whether he was innocent or not, he did pass three polygraphs and he also only agreed to the allegations after he was broken. I think he was innocent Edited at 09:25 PM. |

I completely agree. I just can’t understand how they can keep people for so long without ever charging them. Surely if they had the evidence it would be quite straightforward to charge and convict and then the victims families would also gain some kind of closure.
I think you would literally admit to anything whilst being subjected to the torture that he had to endure. |
