Florida Escapes Nightmare

Virgin were happy to cancel my flights and repay the money but said they would NOT refund the extra I had paid for seat upgrades!
So I had no choice but to take an open ticket. I just hope when I try and book for next year that they play fair! I’m not holding my breath!

So, topdog insurance are now happy to pay out for disney and universal, but not seaworld. We got our tickets from visitorlando.com who are now ignoring all emails. All we need them to do is to reply saying they cant get a refund from seaworld. Also seaworld arnt replying to let us know there policy! so close but yet so far!

We couldn’t get any replies from Discovery Cove for months. Eventually I sent an email saying I was going to claim from my credit card if they didn’t give us a timescale for a refund. They replied to that one basically saying hard cheese and good luck with that. Halifax refunded me the day I called and explained the situation. SeaWorld (not DC) refunded as soon as Halifax took the money back so I had double money for a while until Halifax took theirs back.

I sent some messages on facebook and twitter, next day email saying visit orlando will refund me.

I've contacted FE regarding US tickets that were meant to have been used for our trip last September. They are not hard tickets but in the form of a voucher that obviously says now is expired. Read on the FE website that US tickets are now valid until 2023 we have rebooked for this September so falls within the timescale. My main worry is if I march up to US Customer relations with a voucher that looks to be out of date will they refuse entry?
