Where in the uk are you holidaying?

I’m paying a £1000 for a week in Bridlington, I’ve not holidayed in the UK for 27 years, simply because you can’t guarantee the weather.

This is definitely the year of the British break. 3 trips booked for Devon, Wales and Somerset.

We have a week in Scotland booked for August. Never been before and looking forward to it. We also have 3 nights booked in London.

We are going to The Isle of Wight in June. We booked quite early so the price was fairly reasonable . We were supposed to fly to New York yesterday and booked IOW as soon as we felt that may not happen. Can’t wait ,we had lovely holidays on the island when our kids were small.

Our August 2020 big family holiday has been moved to this year. We have three cottages on a complex booked at Cayton, just outside Scarborough for just over 2k. 8 adults, 3 teens, two children and two dogs going. Plenty of beaches, pubs and cafes where dogs are very welcome.

Its a little bittersweet for us as we have been coming to this area with our children and dogs for years, love it for being child and dog friendly. Lovely walks and beaches. Funfairs, sandy beaches, arcades and sandcastles. Our teens are growing out of this sort of holiday and its been our go to between trips to the states. We are 'handing over' our little piece of heaven to my bro and sis in law and their two children who are under 7. They have never ventured up to Yorkshire before.

Lovely place to visit
Apart from 2020 we normally spend New Year in. Lodge or Cottage in that area
Great for star gazing at night

We have 2 nights booked to go to Harry Potter world in June (Rolled over from last year)
Last visit was in 2017 so plenty new stuff to see
Then a week on Norfolk Broads in July, Picking boat up from Horning.
Hopefully get down as far as Great Yarmouth (First time doing this)
