2 bed lock off versus dedicated

Other than the obvious I bed & sofa bed in the studio/bed 2, versus the 2 beds, and the fact that you can lock off the studio in the lock off, are there any other noticeable differences?

Presumably no kitchenette in the dedicated?

No kitchen is correct. I suspect there’s a bit more space as you don’t have the kitchen or the lobby area by the door.

We had a dedicated two bed at BCV a couple of years ago. The entrance area was quite spacious. The second bedroom had a walk in shower, no bath which suited us.

We've had a couple of dedicated 2 beds over the years and the main difference is that they are more open and spacious as there's not a connecting door between the studio and 1 bed part. Also in what would be the studio there's no kitchenette so you get an extra dressing area. I personally prefer dedicated to lock off and would always book that category if it was available

Thank you ladies.

I've booked lock offs, but from reading your comments and looking at a few Youtube videos, I think a dedicated would suit us better. Gives me a tiny bit more hope of scoring one at GF at 7 months as they're less popular!

Changed our bookings to dedicated now, from what you all said and watching some videos, I much prefer the space in them. I also hadn't considered the balconys, it makes sense that they're all blocked off from each other in the lock off, but open or joined in the dedicated, so much nicer.

Thanks again ladies
