Hotel Blackpool Or Close By

Hello, looking at hopefully having trip end of May / June time with 3 DDs, they are 39/22/19 the youngest is going off to Australia as an international university swap for 12 months, so a few days away with us all together is the plan.

Blackpool wouldn't be my first choice if I am being honest, but the girls love it. Also my grandson who is 5 and the star of the show will be coming and blackpool will be ideal for him.

Can anyone recommend a nice hotel in the area that will be suitable.

Thanks.

I don't like Blackpool in the evenings so The Village is perfect for us. We spend all day in town and drive back up the hotel for tea. Its next to the zoo (walking distance) and has a nice gym and pool.

We stayed at premier inn near the pleasure beach in august last year, and parking is included. had breakfast next door. fine for an overnight stop.

we were originally booked to stay at blackpool fc hotel where the rooms overlook the pitch, which is further up the front from pleasure beach and a bit back, but with changing plans and increase numbers in our party, we moved to the pi which was fine and good location.

Ribby Hall is lovely. They have lodges and a spa hotel.

Edited to add: The Grand in nearby Lytham St Annes is really nice too.

We go fairly regularly to Blackpool and always stay in the Village Hotel. There is a gym, indoor and outdoor pool, golf, the restaurant is quite nice and there is a Starbucks. You can walk to the zoo if that would be of interest. It is probably about 10 minutes drive in to the town centre and there is also a bus stop just outside. There are always good deals to be had on their website. We like Blackpool but we don’t really like to stay right in the town itself.

Also the Boulevard and the Hampton by Hilton are more central and are very new hotels. The premier inns are good and central and the b & b owners will be desperate for your trade.

We always stay at The Imperial by the North Pier. It’s not quite in the centre so it’s lovely and quiet but still near enough to the action and for the teenagers to stumble home when the pubs close 😊 great old Victorian hotel with a wonderful history and amazing staff. Some of the rooms are looking a little faded now but we think it all adds to the charm of the old girl. We’ve got two short stays there this year - can’t wait!

Ooh, we had THE BEST breakfast at The Imperial. I'd also paid a bit extra for a sea view room and it had big bay windows overlooking the prom.

Another vote for the Grand in Lytham - but when I visit my family on nearby Cleveleys, I stay at the quite new Hampton By Hilton, near the Pleasure Beach.

Village or Ribby Hall are both good. Ribby Hall is a bit further out but the option of more space and also activities on site for the kids. Village is right beside the zoo and you can easily walk into the main attractions in about 20 minutes so it depends what suits you better :-).
Ribby Hall also has a gorgeous spa.
