Two of our favourites.
We booked a week in September near Wrexham with a plan to visit Chester and the N Wales coast.

We’ve just come back from a week on the Isle of Wight. It was HEAVEN.
We are off there again in 2 weeks for another 2 weeks, we can’t wait. Last week was the second week we were owed from our Nov trip which was cut short due to lockdown! |

Three nights booked in a hotel near Pickering, North Yorkshire, with a North Yorkshire Moors Railway train trip to Grosmont to see the engine shed, hopefully DGS will find this interesting! If not he can spend a day in his room with his PS5 for company. (Not a punishment I hasten to add.). Then we will go to Whitby and have a wander, hopefully eat some fish and chips. Really looking forward to it.

It’s pretty there.
We spent last weekend in Shaldon in Devon which was nice but chilly. Plans changed and instead of heading home to Kent I had to zap up to Newcastle for a few days for a family matter. It was warmer up there than Devon ! Got a few bargains as Debenhams was in its final days before closing and everything was ridiculously cheap so my first retail therapy in a year as well as sorting out family. Win, win. |

We’ve got all sorts planned. Until we went to DLP in 2016, we’ve always holidayed in England and had some lovely holidays.
This year, we’ve booked two days at Legoland, staying in the Legoland Castle Hotel, then onto Warner Bros Studio Tours, and then driving up to Liverpool for 3 nights on the Disney Magic cruise. I really, really hope it all goes ahead! Then a couple of weeks later, we’re staying in a glamping pod in Wales for a weekend, then picking up a narrowboat for a week on the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal. Next year, we’re heading to Scotland, stopping in North Yorkshire along the way and staying in the hobbits’ house at North Shire near Whitby. Then on to Edinburgh for a few days in a Harry Potter apartment, before we head up to see Ben Nevis and hopefully book a compartment for a trip on the Jacobite (Hogwarts Express train over the Glenfinnan Viaduct). Then we head back down to Falkirk to pick up a narrowboat and go on the Falkirk Wheel. We’d like to see the Kelpies while we’re there, then we’ve got the narrowboat for 11 days, so we’re hoping to get to Glasgow, back to Edinburgh and finish back in Falkirk. Then we’re going back to North Shire to stay in Hagrid’s Hut and visit Kynren on our journey home. I can’t wait!

That will be lovely. We went last July and had a great time. I don’t know if you’ve been fossil hunting before, but I’d recommend booking yourselves onto a fossil hunting tour (we used Chris, at fossilwalks , but there are lots of people that do them). You must book ASAP! The tours are great, and I think we found a lot more than we would without him.
We also went paddleboarding on the river (sea was too rough) and that was lovely. jurassicsupfitness/sup Have fun. |

We have booked a week in Penzance, in June. Planning on doing lots of day trips around West Cornwall. Never been to that part before.
We’ve also booked 4 nights in Dorset, to visit family. Thinking about visiting North Wales in September too. Still researching that. |
