My friends cat, Oli, who is a persian, had FIP last year. She put him on the same regime of injections etc. He has made a full recovery, completed his post injection 84 days with no signs of virus in the bloods. He has put weight on and now races around the house all day. I know of another cat which is being treated for FIP by a cat rescue charity and is nearly at the end of his treatment. Again the treatment seems to have been successful just into the 84 day waiting period now. Paws crossed for your furball

Just a quick update, we are now on day 27 out of 84 days of treatment.
Since we started Cam has gone from 2.8kg to 3.4kg and is much more alert and interested. He is enjoying supervised garden time. His walking has improved, he still crosses his legs and is a bit unsteady on uneven surfaces or when he tries to run too fast, but he could barely stand before we started treatment, so this is a good improvement. He will have his first blood test next week to check everything is ok.

So pleased he’s doing well. Not sure if you have Facebook but there’s a group on there called FIP fighters, they might be helpful.

Hi, yes thank you I am in numerous fb groups. Many are affiliated to a particular brand of drug - FIP Fighters promote Mutian the most expensive treatment. If anyone finds themselves in this position, FIP warriors 5.0 is a product neutral page... but they all help!

A little update, tomorrow we will be halfway through Cam’s treatment (day 41/84).
He is now 3.6kg (started at just under 2.8) and has had his first check up with the vet and bloods last week …everything is looking good so far.
Here he is enjoying some garden time.

He has developed sores from the injections and meds, which we knew would happen, but they don’t seem to bother him. His walking is pretty good and he has started chasing and playing a lot more.
I am borrowing a light therapy tool to help his skin heal more quickly. 🤞

I am so happy your wee guy is responding well to this treatment, what a hard time for you all and well done to you all too, he has a loving caring family to look after him.
I hope he continues to improve and live a long happy life with his sister
