Watched until the last series. I have tried 3 times to watch the final series but it just failed to grip me at all. First series is the best as they had more of the original book to follow.

Is this the Man in the High Castle. As in the what the US could have been like if Germany / Japan had won World War II?

Found it to be a good story. Series 1 very good, Series 2 good, but lost its way a little, Series 3 started off a little like 2 but got back to being as good as 1.

We’ve just watched the first episode. Think we’re going to like it!

I found it hard to get into first time around (and stalled at the end of Series 1), but on my second run at it, I really enjoyed it.

its a decent parallel history, worth a watch if you stick with it ( a bit like wanda vision takes a while to get your head round it)

If having read Philip K Dick's book before watching the TV series you will possibly be puzzled at where all the extra characters spring from.
The book is fairly minimal whereas the TV series is bloated with plotless padding.

On the other hand if you have not read the book, the TV series is not too bad. Unless you have already seen the David Simon (The Wire) serialisation of Philip Roth's book, The Plot Against America. In which case you may be bored of the pretext.

Dick's book was published in 1962, Roth's book in 2004, the problem dramatizing either work of fiction is that reality is now more far fetched than anybody could imagine.

We enjoyed the first series then dutifully just saw it out without being gripped.
Reminded me a bit of Fringe, if anybody remembers that?
