North norfolk

Hi,

We’re hopefully staying near thursford end of June.

I have a couple things planned, seal boat trip and pensthorpe.

But I’m just wondering what else do people recommend?

Thanks.

North Norfolk steam railway between Sheringham and Holt, Blickling Hall near Aylsham, a boat trip on the Broads, there's lots of different things to keep you amused.

Not sure if you are travelling with children but if you are I would highly recommend Bewilderwood... We went yesterday and was absolutely brilliant.
Not as north as Thursford mind you!

Hope you have a lovely relaxing break Hexagon 💞 We visited Norfolk many years ago, the coastline there is beautiful with lots of wide open beaches. We also visited the Norfolk Broads when we were there and hired a small boat for the day, which we could take our dog on too. It was lovely meandering along the water watching lots of ducks following the boat as we went along.

Horsey to see the seals, a visit to Wells-next-the-sea, Cromer and Sheringham.

Really depends on what you are in to.

If you do have kids, it's also not too bad to get to Rooaaaar Dinosaur Park, which kids love. The restaurant at no. 1 Cromer is great, as are the takeaway fish and chips (though Mary Janes is pretty good). I'd also definitely recommend eating at the White Horse, Brancaster and there's some pretty good eateries in Burnham Market. Holt is nice for a browse around the shops. Our favourite beach is Wells.

I’m lucky enough to live here, would recommend Sandringham as a day out. It’s got something for everyone, lovely woods/grounds for walking, the Royal house and gardens if you are into that sort of thing. Also close to the coast so you could easily combine with a trip to Hunstanton for fish & chips 😊
