It does look amazing. I watched a few vlogs today and everyone enjoyed it.
Like the op I'm a bit concerned about the lack of shoulder restraints but I'll still ride it. Im only 5ft tall and always feel like I'm falling out of things anyway!

Just watched theme park express, he is 21 stone, 5ft 5 and reckons he is a 42" waist (he looks a lot bigger) and he managed to get the green light on the test seat with a bit of help.

Said he didnt like the air time from the seat and that it happened a few times

I saw Tim Tracker rode it and said it's the best coaster he has ever been on. If you enjoy Mako with the lap restraints you will certainly be fine on this one. I really hope I get to try this in September it looks brilliant.

I think that's a temperature thing. If it's cold it feels like the wheels are shaped like a 20pence piece and will shake your teeth out. I haven't experienced this on hot days, unless I've been really lucky. I have ridden saw a lot over the years.

My dd11 can’t wait to ride, I’m terrified at the thought, she is skin and bones and even though she is tall enough I’m already thinking she will slip out, have told her she isn’t allowed on it, she threw a right strop 😂

When my then 6 year old rode Icon (same sort of restraint), the first time he rode next to me and I made him hold on, then he sat next to his dad who encouraged him to put his hands up. I was terrified but alas he was fine, I'm definitely sitting him next to his dad again on Velocicoaster

You should be more worried about the hill crests than the inversions, that's when you get some airtime out yer seat haha

Ive been 40" since I was born

Cant think of a better excuse to lose a bit of weight just to make sure
Same a little bit concerned about the lap restraints as I have riden pretty much everything but embarrassing was too large to ride mako. There were lots bigger than me on the ride but I'm guessing my tree trunk legs just too blooming big. 😔 funny when I stepped off the ride and my kids and the mother in law hurtled off into the distance tho.
