I've found it. You have to do the 'skip the line' form and that becomes your agreement (I think), thanks for your help gentlemen

Ive just looked on my VH booking but its too far out to do my skip the counter but on the Alamo site that I got to via my booking it says:

What do I need?
To check-in online:

Your Alamo reservation number or Virgin Holidays booking reference
The lead driver's first and last name
The lead driver's license number
To "Skip the Counter", you need what's listed above and:

The lead driver's credit card or debit card details
A printer to print your rental agreement, this is required to complete the "Skip the Counter" process.


The highlighted bit is what I printed off and gave to them as I left the garage in 2019.
