Mobile Southampton Sailing- Disney Magic

Hi all,
Anyone going from Southampton?

We are on the 4 Night cruise from the 9/8 and travelling with 2 of our children ( 7 year old girl and 13 year old boy)

I had hoped to book a Ocean view room but ended up with a Navigation Veranda on Deck 6.

Looking forward to a bit of Disney Magic...

We’ve just booked, but only doing 2 nights at Bank Holiday. I don’t work Tuesday or Wednesday, so won’t need to take any time off doing it that way. Wasn’t going to book at all, but we’ve had 2 cruises (non-Disney) cancelled so far due to Covid, and just want something fun to look forward to. It’s pretty expensive for what it is - especially for us just doing the 2 nights - but having spent nothing on holidays for over a year now, it’s really not that much! So nice to have something fun and different to look forward to. I’ll be looking out for reports from all the people like you who’ll go before us!

(And then fingers crossed for New York and visiting family in Florida in October!)

We're booked on the 23rd August 4-nighter, although I'm rather hoping we're not on the cruise, as that means our 3 week trip to Florida has gone ahead - I can't see us doing both.

Payment for the cruise is due on the 24th July, and our flight to Orlando is scheduled for the 25th July.

Going on the 3 nighters on the 6th. We live in Southampton and our view is of the water front so we can see the ship come and go when we're not on it too. 😁

Oh exciting for you all in August. I am exciting too as booked for 27th July at Liverpool.

Can I ask question about travelling from Scotland to Southampton? We booked Anthem of the Seas next year May 2022 and we don't want flying and decide to take the Train. My daughter said can book train to Wolverhampton then another train to Southampton?

Do anyone have experience for travelling to Southampton by train from Scotland?

I thought we take the train to King Cross then another train to Southampton but I think it is long hour to do that?

We are on the same one. Also deck 6 veranda. Coming from Scotland. Had flights booked with Loganair for another cruise that got cancelled. Managed to change them for this cruise. Going down the night before booked premier inn city centre.

Edited at 05:23 PM.
