A couple of questions

Hi, I've been researching our Sept-Oct 22 trip for a while and this is the 1st time I've seriously considered renting points for a stay at the Grand Floridian.

Do you get the same services you would in a hotel room, ie. fresh towels and beds made up etc?

Looking at availability, do you think I need to look at the Grand Floridian for the home resort for 11 months booking or would I be ok to wait for the 7 months?

I will need enough points for 12 nights, would you try to get them all from the same person or do smaller transactions (if such a thing is possible)

You don’t get the same services. You get a full clean every 7 days and trash and towel once in between. I think for 12 nights you would get 2 full cleans and one trash and towel.


For 12 nights I’d be looking at 11 months and it will be at least 200 points so you need someone with access to plenty of points for rent. Or you can make multiple bookings but then you would have to check in / out (but usually you don’t have to physically leave the room )

Thanks for the info, didn't realise you had to check in/out if you rented from different sources, will definitely try to get them from the same person.

A full clean after 7 days will be fine, I doubt we'll spend much time there anyway

Just a reminder you can rent from DVC-rental.com as they are the longer running rental company in the US so work with a lot of members. With the point total you might need you might want to check with them when it comes time to request.

With them it is free to check availability.
