I would have no issues doing your plan. Using the early entry at VB you can have all the rides done within 90 mins or so. US/IOA may not even be open by then anyway.

As long as you're not at VB too long, then I don't see anything wrong with that plan assuming the water park is a priority.

2 full days is plenty to get around US and IoA parks and do everything with FoL passes, but not sure about 1.5 days. You'd get most of them done, but might be a bit rushed and you may need to skip a few rides which you're not too fussed about.

If you'd rather do US & IoA completely, then I'd leave VB for another day and just get there for opening. You won't get 3/4 rides on some of the more popular rides, but you could still do most or all rides at VB in one day without early entry - and it would be a more relaxing day, rather than rushing about between hotel / waterpark / theme park till closing.

Early opening is far more useful at Volcano Bay than at the parks if you have Express.

The first early hour is by far the best time to go - you can do all the major slides and then leave after a couple of hours.

If i were you (and we did this) i would get to Hard Rock early on your first day, check in and leave your bags at the hotel. Take some towels from the concierge and go to Volcano Bay for the early opening.

Once you have done at VB, go to IOA and go on the water rides still wearing swim shorts/suits and a t shirt. Then go back to your hotel and get changed into dry clothes to go on all the other rides.

Volcano Bay is wonderful - great start to the day.

(You can do everything at IOA and US in a day and a half with Express - the only exception would be the Hagrid ride if it still doesn't have Express. Leave that for another day when you don't have Express as it will take up at least a couple of hours better spent using Express)

Sounds like a great plan - thank you!

This sounds like a good plan. Might do this on our trip.
